Whether making headlines or serving one meal at a time, the Boesch Law Group gives back to the homeless.
Larry Jackson has been deeply involved in helping resolve the homeless issue in California. He is presently on the Board of Directors for Homes4Homeless which is chartered to bring low-cost housing to the homeless and has just launched Hope Village in Newark, New Jersey.
“The innovative program using converted containers to shelter residents who are at-risk or without addresses…What is unique about this village is that the containers have been converted into fully code-compliant modular residences, consisting of dorm-style rooms, two utility structures with private shower rooms, and a multipurpose structure. These units meet all the standards for permanent residential housing. The rooms have furnishings including a heater, bunk bed for extra storage and a dresser.”
Annie Ksadzhikyan volunteers every year at Westside Thanksgiving Dinner & Celebration and Andre Gagne regularly feeds the homeless through Adopt-a-Block at the Angelus Temple and Union Station Homeless Services. Larry Jackson and the Boesch Law Group provide pro bono legal services through the legal clinic of People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) and through Bet Tzedek Legal Services.
